Equipment
One of the great things about Pickleball is its low start-up costs. New players need a few pieces of basic equipment to get started. Paddles: Pickleball paddles are smaller than a tennis racquet but larger than a table-tennis paddle and are made of several materials. A lighter paddle is recommended for new players. Balls: Similar to wiffle balls, pickleballs are lightweight with holes. There are differences between indoor and outdoor balls. Fortunately, the TPC provides the balls at the Trilogy Courts. Athletic Apparel & Footwear: There is no dress code for pickleball. Athletic wear and tennis apparel are standard. Be sure to invest in a good pair shoes.
Rulebook / Guide
The USA Pickleball Association publishes the official rulebook for the sport of Pickleball. It is updated annually as the game continues to grow in the United States and around the world.
